A place to eat

Imagen
One of my favorite places to enjoy desserts and chocolate is Brusel, located in Lastarria. I absolutely love desserts, and whenever I crave something sweet (at least once a month, because I know it's a lot of sugar), Brusel is my go-to spot. It's one of our favorite plans with my boyfriend for chilly weekend days. We enjoy strolling around Bellas Artes and then heading to Lastarria for a slice of cake and lots of chocolate. Brusel offers a wide variety of desserts, hot chocolate, juices, milkshakes, and more. The atmosphere of the place is charming and particularly cozy for cold days. Another one of my favorite spots is located in Barrio Italia and is called El Galpón. It's a very pleasant restobar with lovely décor. They serve delicious dishes; my favorite being their ceviche. Although I don't drink alcohol, I always opt for a natural juice. The place is renowned for its variety and quality of cocktails, as my boyfriend and friends have mentioned finding them very

Someone you follow on social media

My social media is quite varied; I follow accounts related to architecture, crossfit, and some influencers, but I’ve never been a dedicated follower of anyone 100%, keeping up with all their stories and life updates. However, over a year ago, I started following a Spanish psychologist named Alicia González. She is a writer, speaker, and hosts a podcast with another psychologist, Abril Raluy, which I used to listen to every week when it was released on Spotify (although there haven't been new episodes for several months). I became interested in her because of the topics and messages she shares on social media. She talks about everyday issues that can be problematic for many people. Moreover, the way she speaks and expresses herself makes her seem approachable, even though I don't know her personally. She has a book called "Mejores Amigos" ("Best Friends"), which I found to be very good and highlights many situations that we sometimes normalize without que

LAST WEEKEND

Normally, my weekends are either spent staying in Santiago or traveling to Pichilemu to visit my parents. Last weekend, I stayed in Santiago because I had to study and needed to rest. Traveling exhausts me too much, and I can't keep up with my tasks for the week. On Saturday, I got up around 8 am and went to train crossfit. Normally, I take advantage of Saturday mornings to train. I got back to the apartment around 11:30 am. Saturdays are also for cleaning and cooking something tasty. This Saturday, I wanted to eat legumes, so I made lentils (it had been a while since I last ate them). Since it was raining, I stayed home for the rest of the day, studied a bit, and continued watching a Netflix series with my boyfriend that I really like. It's an anime called "The Seven Deadly Sins." It's very beautiful. On Sunday, I woke up late because it's the only day I don't set an alarm to wake up. I had breakfast at 12, which is late for me. In the afternoon, I

A Country You Would Like to Visit

I would love to travel more frequently, and I hope to do so once I finish my degree. There are many countries I would like to visit, but if I had to organize a trip right now, I would choose Machu Picchu in Peru. Visiting this site is an experience I long to have, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site and is a place of great cultural and architectural value. The construction of Machu Picchu is a testament to the incredible knowledge and skill of the Incas in engineering and architecture. The terraces, stairs, and stone structures fit together perfectly, which I find fascinating. I could list many reasons why I want to visit this place. I plan to visit Machu Picchu in the near future with friends, for about a week. We also want to explore other nearby places in Peru. I love getting to know cities and walking through them, as this way you can appreciate the city in a unique way and discover places that you don't see from a car. I am not sure what negative aspects this tr

Concert, show or Exhibition

Concerts are not really among my hobbies and interests; honestly, I don't pay much attention to music. Despite that, I find going to concerts very enjoyable. The last concert I attended was an electronic music show in October 2022, when I saw Boris Brejcha at Espacio Riesco. I really liked it and had an amazing time. I went with my boyfriend, and we were there for around 7 hours. There were many electronic artists, and Boris Brejcha closed the show. What stood out to me was the stage setup: the lights, the smoke effects, and all the visual effects transported you to another place. The energy of the crowd was contagious, and we were all immersed in the music and the atmosphere. Before this, in September 2022, I went to a music festival in Pichilemu called Surfestival. There, various young artists performed, mainly reggae and reggaeton. Even though I didn't know some of the artists, I loved the ambiance and the beauty of the location, right by the beach. On that occasion, I wen
