A Hobby

Imagen
My university commitments have decreased significantly, but I still make sure to carve out time every day for my favorite pastime: crossfit. I've been doing this sport for four years now, starting with an hour a day for the first two years, usually five days a week. Since last year, I've increased my dedication to about two hours a day, still five days a week, with my usual rest days on Thursdays and Sundays. Before getting into crossfit, I led a fairly sedentary lifestyle. However, since I started training, I've met many friends who share this passion. Two years ago, I also met my boyfriend, who is now my training partner, making the experience even more enjoyable and motivating. Breaking out of the routine and challenging myself physically and mentally is something I really enjoy. Crossfit, being a combination of movements from various disciplines such as weightlifting, metabolic conditioning, and gymnastics, constantly provides me with new challenges and the opportunity

A Beautiful Place In Chile

Imagen
There are truly many beautiful places in Chile, but my favorites are in the south. In March 2022, I took a trip to the Carretera Austral with my best friend. We set off from Puerto Montt and traveled until we reached Puerto Tranquilo, near Coyhaique. Undoubtedly, we explored stunning landscapes. We did several trekkings in some national parks. My favorite place of all was Puerto Tranquilo, where the Explorador Glacier is located. We took a guided trekking tour that started at 5:30 a.m., after a two-hour bus ride to the park entrance. Then, we embarked on the trek to the glacier, carrying all the gear provided to us on the tour. It was a six-hour hike, but undoubtedly an experience I will never forget. We walked on the glacier and even drank water from it. I liked it too much.

A Photograph that brings back happy memories

Imagen
This photograph was taken in November 2022 and it depicts a special moment when my whole family gathered together. My parents, my brother, and I, who are rarely all in the same place due to our scattered geographical locations. My parents live in Pichilemu, while my brother is studying in Talca, and I reside in Santiago. Although we try to get together some weekends, we don't always manage to coincide due to our commitments and responsibilities. Sometimes, my mom travels to Talca or Santiago, but even then, we remain physically apart. That's why this photograph holds special value for me, as it represents one of the few moments when we managed to be together and capture it in a picture. On that particular day, we went out to celebrate my dad's birthday and we had a really enjoyable time together. It was a lovely evening filled with laughter and family affection.
